A atleta internacional do GD Gafanha Joana Soeiro participou nos passados dias 24 e 25 de Outubro de 2011 no "Blue Star Europe London Tournament".
A actividade serve de observação de atletas a nível europeu, realizada no Crystal Palace National Sports Centre, de Londres.
Após realizar 5 mini-jogos, a equipa de Joana Soeiro (da qual também fazia parte a outra atleta portuguesa, Laura Ferreira) foi Campeã do Torneio, ficando ambas as duas no "5 Ideal do Torneio" e sendo a própria Joana Soeiro eleita "MVP" do Torneio.
Queremos dar os parabéns a Joana Soeiro mais uma vez pelo seu desempenho, pela sua dedicação e pela sua humildade, sendo um fantástico modelo para as nossas jovens atletas e sendo um referente importante a nível nacional.
