No penúltimo jogo da época, o CAR Jamor deslocou-se à Póvoa de Varzim e não conseguiu rectificar a derrota que havia sofrido na 1ª volta, na Cruz Quebrada. Mesmo contando com o handicap de jogar desfalcada da poste norte-americana Rachel Folcik (lesionada), a turma anfitriã, após uns 7 minutos iniciais equilibrados, logrou ganhar alguma vantagem com a dupla Marquetta Dickens (21 pontos) e Cátia Lirio (21 pontos e 2 triplos) a fazerem valer a sua experiência, ditando a diferença no 1º período (19-15), ao marcarem em conjunto 15 dos 19 pontos da equipa.

Onze clubes estão nos blocos prontos para o tiro de partida para o início da Liga Feminina. Pena que o CPN não tenha podido manter-se na prova, porque é um emblema que faz falta ao panorama basquetebolístico nacional, em particular ao feminino. Razões de índole economicista terão pesado na decisão dos seus dirigentes, mas esperamos que em breve, a simpática colectividade de Ermesinde volte a apresentar equipa senior, já que se mantem nos escalões de formação, onde é um dos clubes com melhor historial.
